Over 20 walkers came out for the fine conditions on Saturday 2nd May at the Lake Tuggeranong Sea Scout Hall with a 12 and 6km option on offer. In a close finish, Michael Reading won the 12km in a time of 67.17 from Ann Jugovic in 68.32. Third in the 12km was Peter Kallid with 81.06. The 6km event saw some very close racing with Mark Worrall winning with a time of 40.08. Second was Rod Gilcrist with 43.28 and third was Marianne Banfield with a time of 44.53.
Saturday 9th May will see walkers having the option of four distances. These are 1/3/5/15km. Racing starts from the Rowing Club, Rusty Robertson Drive, Black Mountain Peninsular (Map 58 L5) with the long distances at 1.30pm and the short at 2.00pm.
